Words For Music is a music review website that gives an extra voice to the underdogs, those bands that deserve a bit more exposure, and should be heard by everyone. Celebrating the weird and wonderful world of music aswell as appreciating the pioneers of particular genres. Created by Me, Alex!
We specialize in a variety of music, with the indie genre heavily infuencing our style. However if you simply play good music we have got your back and we’ll be there to support you all the way!
We pride ourselves on good honest reviewing, we don’t pander to any band (no matter how big or small) if there’s something we believe could be improved we’ll say, tough love. A lot of music reviewing websites don’t offer this as they tend to be just another promotional arm. We like to think that we are creating material which will spark debate and in turn interesting to read.

I was wondering if you guys take submissions for independent bands or songs to feature?
Like everyone else, I’m in a band. We just put up a song here: http://soundcloud.com/new-cathedral/no-saints-or-angels-demo and could really REALLY use any kind of press that we could possibly get for it! Or… even just knowing that you listened to it would be amazing!
I’m sorry if you get a million of these a day but I figured it was worth a shot and I really, really appreciate what you guys do/the amount of effort it takes/the support for rising music!
