Today on New Music Now! something completely different is on the agenda, it’s that highly driven shoegaze genre brought to you by the talented Lazy Legs!
Coming from Chicago,IL who have a vibrant music scene at the moment, the band have a strong sense of what they want their music to be and they have their sounds deeply rooted within shoegaze. The band take heavy inluences from bands like My bloody Valentine and Slowdive which shows throughout their latest song “Crush”.
The song is powerful throughout with the guitars driving the song forward, along with the distant vocals it makes for an interesting listen which forces your hand on the song. You could easily hear this song being played at the end of an accomplished setlist to the end the night, and send the fans home happy. The song is also accompanied with a ridiculously entertaining video which is simply dogs enjoying themselves on a beach while words that revolving around summer just pop up. The band purposely decided to have the cheesy and entertaining video to accommodate this well written and structured song.
