Ivory Club are a relatively new band hailing from Birmingham, and since their formation they have started to create a bit of buzz around them. The five-piece have a slight Stone Roses feel to them with the funky yet catchy guitar rhythm, however they seem to have a twinge of Kasabian about them, as the song has a serious stomp your feet rave vibe.
Their debut single ‘Club‘ showcases all the bands best attributes, as they clearly have a talent of writing catchy songs that will resonate with a live crowd. The isn’t laced with complex lyrics or over-thought ideas, Ivory Wave kept it relatively simple and it’s paid off. The production of the song is perfect, as it really drives the guitar creating a chaotic atmosphere around the vocals. With this single being released, it will be interesting to hear what the band will come out with next, no matter what it is it should be a catchy one.
