New Release: The Minx – ‘No Friends’

Manchester band The minx have released a new song called ‘No Friends’, which is dressed with infectious riffs, strong vocals and humour due to the fact the song is about having no friends.

The track sounds like a classic indie anthem that you heard in the start of the 00’s, because it has this upbeat rhythm and a ridiculously catchy chorus that is ingrained in your brain due to the lead vocalists. At times the track sounds like it should be playing in a fairground due to the recurring piano riff, however it manages to steer clear of sounding cheesy and could easily be one of the bands best songs.

As well as this the video is extremely entertaining as bright colours and places of the world flash but while the band play over them, which shows how effective a green screen can be!

A great new track to listen to, along with some tasty dates!
